On January 17, 2026, the 2026 Scientific and Technical Conference officially took place at Pavillon Tan Son Nhat Convention Center (Ho Chi Minh City), with the theme “Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation for Stroke Patients.”
The event gathered nearly 300 delegates, including leading experts in Rehabilitation, Neurology, and Stroke care from major hospitals across Vietnam, along with international speakers from Canada and Thailand.
This year’s conference focused on presenting comprehensive, modern, and sustainable solutions in rehabilitation care and treatment—covering prevention, acute management, diagnostics, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the application of virtual reality technologies and Traditional Medicine in post-stroke recovery.
Highlights from the Three Scientific Sessions
PLENARY SESSION
The plenary session provided an overview of current trends in stroke rehabilitation, featuring key topics such as:
-
Multidisciplinary treatment approaches
-
Non-invasive brain stimulation
-
Post-stroke pain management
-
Application of Traditional Medicine in rehabilitation
SESSION 1 – Technology and Advanced Evaluation
Experts presented various high-technology applications including robotics, VR, body-weight support gait systems, evidence-based occupational therapy, and advanced functional assessment techniques.
SESSION 2 – Stroke Management and Early Rehabilitation
This session emphasized multimodal approaches in managing ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, complication control, psychological therapy, Traditional Medicine, and the role of nursing in rehabilitation.
SESSION 3 – Dysphagia, Nutrition, and Communication Disorders
Reports focused on the management of dysphagia, clinical nutrition, and speech-language rehabilitation, featuring participation from international specialists from Mahidol University.
SAVINA ONE Proudly Serves as the Gold Sponsor of the 2026 Scientific and Technical Conference
As the Gold Sponsor, SAVINA is honored to accompany Hospital 1A in the mission of enhancing rehabilitation quality in Vietnam. At the event, SAVINA showcased four advanced medical technologies, allowing physicians and specialists to directly experience, practice, and evaluate their clinical effectiveness:
R-Touch Elite (BTL) – Soft Robotic Glove for Upper Limb Rehabilitation
R-Touch Elite is a soft robotic glove system that mimics natural finger movement, enabling precise and safe training. It promotes neuroplasticity, supports motor remapping in the brain, and integrates interactive exercises through real objects and gamified activities.
This device is highly effective for post-stroke recovery, upper limb paralysis, and peripheral nerve injuries, with the ability to monitor progress throughout all rehabilitation stages.
BTL- Super Inductive System Elite
SIS Elite uses high-intensity electromagnetic fields to stimulate neuromuscular structures, providing rapid pain relief and improving mobility. It penetrates deeply into tissues to support the treatment of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders, reduce spasticity, and restore motor function after stroke.
This technology also enhances circulation and tissue healing, making it suitable for rehabilitation, sports injuries, and bone healing support.
Focused Shockwave Therapy – Precision Pain Relief
Focused Shockwave delivers concentrated energy directly to target tissues, stimulating regeneration and improving range of motion. It helps reduce deep pain, regenerate tendons, bones, and soft tissues, break down calcific deposits, and relax muscles affected by spasticity or overuse.
It is a key technology in musculoskeletal pain management and post-stroke rehabilitation.
30W High-Intensity Laser & Robotic Scanning System – Automated Deep-Tissue Laser Therapy
The 30W laser system combined with robotic scanning uses a 1064 nm wavelength to deliver energy deep into tissues, providing fast and safe pain reduction. This laser technology helps reduce inflammation, accelerate cellular metabolism, and promote tissue repair.
Robotic Scanning ensures uniform and standardized energy delivery across the treatment area.
It is indicated for tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, spinal pain, sciatica, sports injuries, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
SAVINA ONE – Innovating to Advance Rehabilitation in Vietnam
SAVINA’s participation in the 2026 Scientific and Technical Conference reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing advanced, safe, and effective treatment solutions, contributing to improved stroke care in Vietnam.
SAVINA ONE is committed to continued collaboration with hospitals, universities, and clinical experts to bring new technologies into clinical practice—supporting physicians, enhancing treatment experiences, and optimizing recovery outcomes for patients.
